ANYWHERE is the Winner of the Resilience Award Security Innovation Award 2022

ANYWHERE strengthens societal resilience through its technology intended to enhance anticipation and capacity of response to extreme climate-induced events for civil protection throughout Europe.

In ANYWHERE we developed a Multi-Hazard Impact based Early Warning System (MH-IEWS) for climate induced emergencies that, together with a platform able to integrate local information (including vulnerability and risk maps and layers) and advanced visualization tools (A4EU), is a powerful DSS for Emergency Management Centres that has been operationally tested and demonstrated (24/7) in seven pilot sites .

This award highlights the importance of EU-funded research in the field of Civil Security and rewards great examples of Security Research Uptake

PRESENTATION OF THE RESULTS

Prof. Daniel Sempere, Director of CRAHI and ANYWHERE project coordinator, participated last October 5t, 2022 in the ceremony hosted by CERIS (Community for European Research and Innovation for Security) in Brussels, to receive the award and explain the results obtained from the ANYWHERE project.
