The ANYWHERE Final Conference included a Hands-on demonstration (29th October 2019) as well as the 4th Project Workshop (30th October 2019).

The Hands-on demonstration of the ANYWHERE platforms and operational developments (29th October 2019) was open to everybody registered but restricted to a maximum of 100 participants due to space limitations (Stakeholders and Commercial associated had preference in the assignation). The activity showed project Stakeholders and the Associated enterprises the developments achieved by ANYWHERE through a hands-on demonstration using the operational platforms running in real-time in the project pilot sites, and on selected pre-recorded case-studies (relevant emergency events).

It represented a great opportunity to let interested new users to get a dedicated insight on the ANYWHERE platforms and impact forecasting products / services through the possibility to explore by themselves the operational versions running in real-time in 7 pilot sites across Europe. Participants joining the activity brought their own laptops.

The main purpose of the ANYWHERE 4th Project Workshop was to showcase the latest project advancements and to discuss them with the external institutions members of the Stakeholders’ Board along with the Commercial Associates of the project, as well as with the Advisory Board members. Round tables were foreseen for engaging the discussion, plus parallel live exhibits showing the ANYWHERE developments on large screens, as well as a space dedicated to posters.

Moreover, it was fostered generating an adequate atmosphere among the involved actors (RTD partners, developers, first-responders, stakeholders and technological enterprises) to ensure the success of the collaborative approach needed in the project. This is a key factor to effectively integrate the real-time operation requirements in the design and deployment of the systems and services tackling the societal challenges foreseen. Additionally, it is also sought to consolidate and enhance the collaboration between the European civil protection actors.
